Hi, I am Caitlyn! I like to wander around the world — one small step at a time.

I am a thirty-something millennial living in Maryland with my husband and pet houseplants. I was born and raised in a small town in Michigan and have always dreamed of seeing what was in the world outside of my small hometown. I did not start actively traveling until I was twenty-one years old, but in just nine years, I visited all fifty states.

Right now, I am actively working toward seeing one hundred countries, visiting every Canadian province and territory, and every national park in the United States. Along the way, I have developed a few personal quests: exploring all seven continents, catching a game at every MLB stadium, visiting every museum in Washington, DC and going to every Walt Disney park.

I try to travel on a budget, yet I still try to have a full experience in the place I am visiting. My favorite parts of traveling are nature, history, and of course, the food!
